1. Pokemon Legends: Z-A
Fans have been waiting for more news on Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and Pokemon Day 2025 might finally bring a big update. Leaks suggest a new trailer is coming, and it could reveal key details about the game, including its starters, Mega Evolutions, and story setting.
If the rumors are true, the game will follow the same pattern as Pokemon Legends: Arceus when it comes to starter selection. Instead of the usual Gen 6 trio, Z-A will reportedly feature Totodile (Gen 2), Litten (Gen 7), and Snivy (Gen 5). Since its launch in October 2024, Pokemon TCG Pocket has been slowly expanding, and now, a brand-new mini-set is supposedly dropping on February 28 — just one day after Pokemon Day.
Not much is known about which cards will be included, but considering this is the first TCG Pocket announcement during a Pokemon Day event, expect something big.
5. Generation 10
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room — Generation 10. According to the leaks, it’s already in development. The rumored title? Pokemon Gaia. Instead of one big landmass, the game might take place across a series of islands, giving you a totally different way to explore and battle.
But here’s the catch. A full Gen 10 reveal on Pokemon Day? Not likely. Pokemon still has a big Legends: Z-A launch and plenty of Gen 9 content left to roll out. That said, don’t be surprised if a small teaser sneaks into the Pokemon Presents showcase—maybe even just a logo.
