After years of anticipation, Monster Hunter Wilds is right around the corner, and fans are barely hanging on in excitement. The game will be released on February 28, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. It also comes available in separate editions, all of which are priced proportionally to the content they offer.
The game features a Standard Edition, Steelbook Edition, various Digital-Only Editions, and more. Standard Edition
The Standard Edition of Monster Hunter Wilds includes just the base game. This edition is the lowest priced of the available editions, sitting with a $69.99 price tag. While there may be no extra bonuses available with this edition, you can pre-order the game to get the Gilded Knight set as a preorder bonus.
Steelbook Edition
The Monster Hunter Wilds Steelbook Edition is one of the fancier editions of the game. This edition of the game sits at $74.99 and is only available for consoles. This edition, too, features only the base game. The real hook of this edition is its steel cover case. The cover is solid grey, featuring special art exclusive to this edition.
Digital-Only Editions
The game also features Digital-only editions. These editions are as follows:
