While the podcast is known for discussions related to anime, fans criticized the political commentator’s appearance. Several fans voiced their opinions against Hasan stating his various comments on political views.
The Trash Taste podcast is hosted by Connor “CDawgVA,” Joey “The Anime Man,” and Garnt “Gigguk.” While on the podcast, his comments for the ‘Blue Lock’ anime also went viral.

Trash Taste has over 1.66 million subscribers on YouTube, and has hosted several content creators including Penguinz0, Ludwig, and PewDiePie. The podcast is based in Japan, where HasanAbi recently visited. The podcast was also under fire for allegedly deleting comments under the Hasan episode. However, Connor assured fans that the podcast has never deleted any comments. Connor’s comment on a Reddit post stated:
“Connor here, can confidently say we’ve never deleted a single comment on a trash taste YouTube video.”
Moreover, the Trash Taste podcast also commented on the episode stating that they have not deleted any comments.

Ethan Klein Comments on HasanAbi Amid Trash Taste Controversy
Ethan Klein has been consistent in his criticism of Hasan Piker. The YouTuber also commented on the recent Trash Taste controversy involving Hasan. Earlier in February, Ethan went viral on social media for dropping the highly anticipated ‘Content Nuke- Hasan Piker’ video which featured extensive criticism towards Hasan and his frequent associates.
Ethan commented on Hasan’s recent controversy after the streamer had asked his viewers to counter the hate towards him on the podcast.
“This cope is unreal. People don’t like you because you are a terrorist supporter that laughs at the coffins of dead children. You don’t get to be well liked and be as vile as you are.”

Despite the controversy, some fans of the podcast claimed that the hate against Hasan was “propagandized.” A user on Reddit commented that the recent episode of the podcast had seven times the comments that the podcast usually gets.
