After grinding for hours in the Celestial Ranks in Marvel Rivals, xQc finally made it to Eternity playing Doctor Strange.

Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel climbed to the Eternity rank in Marvel Rivals in the game’s newest season. He was among the top 100 players in Season Zero when playing with other streamers but had a harder time in Season One in the game’s updated ranked format.
Just like his Overwatch days, xQc prefers playing the Tank (Vanguard) role in Marvel Rivals. He plays Doctor Strange, a character that can shield allies, levitate, and crowd-control enemies while dishing out serious damage.
The top 500 players in Eternity have a special “One Above All” rank. After completing his climb, xQc realized that he was very close to One Above All status. He will continue grinding the game’s ranked mode to reach the global leaderboards.
xQc Wants To Get Top 500 in Marvel Rivals Season One
When Marvel Rivals launched in December 2024, xQc picked it up and became one of the top players on PC. He climbed back to Eternity after a recent ranked mode reset and commented after a clean 3:0 win:
“It’s not that defending is better. It’s a very hard map to finish. I mean this guy (xQc’s teammate) cooked. Yay!”
The streamer noticed he was close to the top 500 on the leaderboards and said:
“Eternity 37? Top 500? Yeah that (his rank) is actually pretty close to Top 500. Yeah it’s like a tier and a half difference.”
The streamer has 37 Ranked Points (RP) in Eternity, and the Top 500 leaderboards end at 202 RP. xQc can reach the Top 500 if he wins some more matches to get more RP.
The Streamer Was a Former Professional Overwatch Player
Newer xQc fans might be unaware that he was a former Overwatch pro player. The streamer played Winston, a genetically engineered gorilla. A lot of his social media branding on Twitch and YouTube still has Winston’s signature in-game icon.
He played competitively with “Team Q,” a rookie team that was later signed to Denial Esports. His first tournament was at a Rivalcade weekly Overwatch event. After his rookie performances and ranked gameplay became popular, the professional team Dallas Fuel picked him up.
xQc also represented the Canadian Overwatch team at the Overwatch World Cup in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He quit Overwatch after Blizzard Entertainment banned him for using the “TriHard7” Twitch emote in a “racially disparaging” manner. He joined Sentinels and Luminosity as a content creator, but he found more success as a solo content creator.
Lengyel made over $18,000 from tournament winnings during his career. This does not include his professional salary and sponsorships. The streamer does not play competitively anymore, but he continues to reach high ranks in first-person shooters.
