How To Start the Man of Bronze Substory
To start this substory, you will first need to visit Waikiki Street. Here, you will see a fire-breathing performer named Clyde who is working up the crowd. One of the onlookers will mention a bronze statue performer who stands motionless for his performance.
To find this bronze statue man, head to the corner of Resort Boulevard and Aloha Street. You will find him standing perfectly still, indistinguishable from a real statue. You will be given the option to tip the man $1, $100, or nothing at all. It is suggested to tip $100 for the best reward. After awing the crowd with your display of wealth and generosity, some children will show up and start kicking the man. You will tell them off for their mischief, and they will leave to watch Clyde’s performance instead.
After this, head to the bathroom on Aloha Beach, where you will find the bronze man tending to his wounds. He will thank you for your tip and reveal that more people also gave him tips after seeing you. To show his gratitude, he will give you a Staminan ZZ. After you leave the bathroom, he will introduce himself as Bronson. He will then tell you that Clyde also used to be a statue performer just like him.
After he finishes his story, he will return to his performance. Go see him once more at the corner where you first found him. You will see him being bullied again. But this time, it will be adults trying to make him break character. Clyde will then show up and threaten Bronson with fire. At this point, you will intervene and set the hooligans straight. How To Complete the Man in Bronze
You may have to wait some time to start the last event in this substory. To finish it off, head to the park on the corner of Waikiki Street and Makani Avenue. Clyde and Bronson will both be putting on their respective performances, although Clyde will have the crowd’s full attention. Unfortunately, things will go awry, and Clyde will accidentally set a nearby house on fire.
At this point, Bronson will intervene and rush into the house to save a boy trapped inside. After a tense moment, Bronson will succeed with his heroic rescue, and the crowd will applaud him. Clyde will apologize to Bronson, and the two will reconcile their differences after a while.
