The Orb of Secrets is a rare treasure item that can be sold to any Trading Company except Athena’s Fortune. How To Obtain Orb of Secrets in Sea of Thieves
You can only find the Orb of Secrets through active Skeleton Camps. To check if a Skeleton Camp is active, look for the lit fire at the top of the camp. If a camp is inactive, either wait for a while until it becomes active or search for another active Skeleton Camp with a flame.
The Orb of Secrets is located inside the Crypts of Ancient Temples beneath the Skeleton Camps, however, these Crypts are locked by default. The area can be accessible by solving the Constellation Puzzle, which requires you to draw three constellations on spinning stones above the crypt door. Then, defeat the waves of Obsidian Skeletons and head to the Altar. Stop the ritual by interacting with the Altar to claim the Orb of Secrets.

How Does Orb of Secrets Work in Sea of Thieves?
If you obtain the Orb of Secrets, you can sell the Ancient item to trading companies like Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, and Reaper’s Bones for 20,000 Gold. Selling 30 orbs unlocks the ‘Orber of Souls’ commendation.
While stopping the ritual grants the Orb of Secrets, things will be a little different for members of a Burning Blade crew. After successfully solving the Constellation Puzzle, no skeletons will spawn. Approach the Altar to complete the ritual as a member of the Burning Blade Crew. This will add the Ancient Knowledge from the Orb of Secrets to the value of the Burning Blade, enhancing the value of your ship.
