Mecha Break is the latest sensation in multiplayer gaming, joining the ranks of Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals. Developed by Amazing Seasun Games, this free-to-play shooter title features different game modes, including classic options like 3v3 team deathmatch and 6v6 hero shooter.
Dive into the battlefield by choosing from over 13 different Mechs, also known as Strikers, each equipped with unique abilities and distinct weapons. What Is Mashmak Mode in Mecha Break and How Does It Work?
In Mecha Break, Mashmak is a 30-player extraction shooter mode that takes place on a large map. The PvPvE (solo or co-op) mode functions more like a battle royale survival mode, blending extraction mechanics. Ten squads of three players drop into an enormous 16×16 km map. Similar to a battle royale, players scavenge resources and loot while trying to stay alive. However, enemy players are not the only threat; they also have to fight various NPC enemies, including powerful bosses on the battlefield.
Unlike the 3v3 and 6v6 modes, where ammunition recharges, players will run out of ammunition in Mashmak. They can find more ammunition from loot boxes or enemy drops. Additionally, players can call in supplies and boosters from airdrops. Since airdrops are universal, they serve as a double-edged sword, offering valuable resources while attracting more threats.
Since Mashmak operates similarly to a dungeon system, players can obtain abundant loot. However, what sets the mode apart is its dynamic extraction mechanism. The extraction points can start to appear mid-battle and can disappear permanently once they are used. This forces players to strategically plan their escape route, waiting for the next extraction point while dealing with ongoing threats.
