IShowSpeed has caught the attention of the internet by showing off an exclusive cosplay for his Monster Hunter Wilds marathon stream.
On February 28, 2025, Darren “IShowSpeed” celebrated the game’s release with an amazing costume featuring one of the in-game mounts during a Monster Hunter Wilds marathon stream on his YouTube channel. The well-known livestreamer didn’t stop there; he also converted his room into a streaming setup with a Monster Hunter Wilds motif.
IShowSpeed has previously cosplayed alongside his friend and Twitch star Kai Cenat for video game marathons like Fortnite, so this is not the first time he has dressed up for a stream. But after he posted a picture on his X account, his Monster Hunter Wilds-inspired cosplay became viral on social media. Its resemblance to the in-game character has been noted by many.

When Did IShowSpeed’s Monster Hunter Wilds Stream Begin
Since he posted the image on X, it has received over 150K impressions, with many people complimenting IShowSpeed on his commitment to the marathon.
With great enthusiasm, IShowSpeed began his broadcast on February 28. Wearing his elaborate cosplay, the streamer made an appearance on the broadcast to promote the Monster Hunter Wilds marathon from atop a model of an in-game mount. The streamer encouraged his viewers to spam “Ws” in chat. He said:
“Spam all the Ws, let’s go! Spam all the Ws in the chat, Monster Hunter Wilds! I am here. W or L fit, you all? It took me 15 to 20 minutes to just put on!”

Additionally, IShowSpeed announced that he will be completing the game on stream. In addition to this, he will also wish his fans and viewers a Happy Ramadan. The streamer said:
