YouTuber Atozy attended Johnny Somali’s court case in South Korea and reported that things went terribly for the controversial streamer.

Controversial content creator Ramsey “Johnny Somali” Khalid Ismael reportedly pled guilty to his misdemeanor charges in a South Korean court. On March 7, 2025, YouTuber Erling “Atozy” Mengshoel seemingly viewed the court proceedings in person and reported on the latest developments in the case.
Atozy claimed that Johnny Somali and his lawyer have no idea about the charges presented against them. The South Korean court asked the defendants to appear again on April 19, 2025.
Atozy claims Johnny Somali smiled and mocked everyone in the courtroom. However, the “smile was cut quickly when the judge announced the charges,” according to the YouTuber. The current charges could land Somali in prison for ten years.
YouTuber and lawyer Andrew “Legal Mindset” Esquire also reported on the court proceedings and claimed Somali pleaded guilty to all charges. He claimed that Somali was wearing a MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat and was asked to remove it multiple times.
Atozy Reveals What Happened to Johnny Somali in Court
According to Atozy, Johnny Somali is facing additional charges from a different court case. The YouTuber revealed:
“Went to the Johnny Somali trial today in Seoul, South Korea. Things went terrible for him. He came in smiling and mocking us. But the smile was cut quickly when the judge announced the charges. With the current official charges, he’s facing a decade in prison. But we also found out more charges are coming alongside of a separate court case. The case before him had been ongoing for over a year….so it seems like either way he will be stuck here for a while.”
Atozy expects Johnny Somali to be stuck in the lawsuit indefinitely. According to his interactions with people at the court, other South Korean districts are allegedly framing separate cases against Somali. He added:
“If there’s a takeaway… don’t harass people in public for your content then continue to double down over and over again”
Legal Mindset Weighs in on the Ongoing Legal Battle
YouTuber Legal Mindset also attended the South Korean court with Atozy. He shared his thoughts on X saying:
“Ramsey’s first day of trial just concluded, he was 1 hour late and came in with his roommate Hank. Both Ramsey’s lawyer and Ramsey had no idea about the new charges so they pushed the next trial date for 3 weeks from today, April 9th. Johnny pled GUILTY to all the other charges”

Johnny pled GUILTY to all the other…
Legal Mindset revealed the details of the violations and said Somali pleaded guilty to three out of four charges. He added:
“Reminder Ramsey faces a total of 4 charges, 2 counts of obstruction of business and 2 violations of the minor crimes act. Today, he pled GUILTY to 1 count of obstruction (convenience store) and 2 counts of the minor crimes act (dead fish harassment & disrupting subway/bus)”
Atozy and Legal Mindset will attend the next hearing on April 9, 2025, and report further developments in the lawsuit. Johnny Somali has not issued a statement after today’s court proceedings.
