The mission begins with a cutscene where you and your partner are in a Dropship with several others. Amid the panic, the admiral announces that the enemies have developed an ultimate weapon—a toxin. The mission’s objective is to find and destroy the source of the toxin.

As soon as you jump from the ship, the cutscene ends, and you regain control of your characters. You will notice the sky filled with lasers, missiles, and fighter ships. After a moment, your Dropship is hit by a rocket and explodes. Apart from you, several side characters are also there for backup, but it is up to you to navigate through the chaos.
Your goal is to avoid the approaching debris as you descend. Take the passage from a ship in front of you, and you will soon spot the facility, the source of the toxin. Drop down, and there will be an open pipe. Use this pipe to make your way into the facility, but be careful of the pillars and projections on the way down.
Soon, you will splash into a vast body of water. Swim toward the massive opening on your right. Take a big leap, and you will slide into another water compartment. Here, you will encounter a circular metal door. Interact with the door alongside your partner to open it. This concludes the Dropship subchapter of the Final Dawn mission.
