Split Fiction has many bosses for the players to fight with. Here’s how to defeat this boss in the Overseer mission in Split Fiction.
The fourth chapter of Split Fiction has many innovative levels along with numerous cult-classic references that should be studied for years to come. The levels are further divided into missions, from the beginning to a boss battle.
The boss battle in Chapter 4 is called The Overseer, which includes an intimidating run-and-gun section. Here’s how you can complete the Overseer mission of Chapter Four in Split Fiction.
When Does The Overseer Mission Start?
After completing the side-scrolling run-and-gun area that is seemingly inspired by Mega Man, you’ll ultimately reach a giant gray wall from which Overseer will pop up.
Unlike other bosses, Overseer has no cutscene for his dramatic entry.
The Overseer Boss Fight Guide
The Overseer boss is a treat for run-and-gun fans who grew up with Metal Slug and Mega Man. A giant machine will reveal itself from the wall with purple and red heterochromia eyes.
The first phase will have you continuously shooting at the boss’s face while dodging spike balls, acid spits, and rockets. Repeating the pattern for a few moments will conclude the first segment of the boss fight, allowing the platform to ascend.
It will continue to ascend as Overseer continuously spits out acid to fill the area, and the players must climb upwards while shooting blocks. The fight goes on in the second phase when the point of view shifts to Overseer.
The boss will be released from the hinges and will follow Mio and Zoe. One player should predominantly attack its face, and the other should destroy the laser-emitting rockets.
After taking a turn that changes the camera angle from side-scroller to third-person, this will initiate the final phase. Simply continue attacking Overseer while dodging obstacles midway, and ultimately, you will be the victor.
