In this article, we will tell you how to hatch Bird Eggs in the Underlands mission in Hazelight’s Split Fiction.
Players will return to Zoe’s Fantasy world in Split Fiction Chapter 3. You will get the opportunity to do many different things in this chapter, including turning into a monkey and a tree fairy and doing a lot of puzzle solving and platforming, which is not uncommon for a Hazelight Studio game.
However, among the various objectives, there is one that stands out from the rest. And of course, we are talking about helping out the baby bird. In this article, we are going to talk about that particular task and tell you how to Hatch the Bird Eggs in The Underlands in Split Fiction.
How To Solve the Bird Eggs Puzzle in Split Fiction
At the start of the Underlands, Zoe and Mio will get separated; however, they will gain some transformation abilities. In this level, Mio will be able to turn into a monkey while Zoe will gain the powers to transform into a tree, among other things. The entire Underlands section is built around this shapeshifting mechanic.
Eventually, you will find some bird eggs. You will then instantly notice that one of the eggs hasn’t fully hatched yet and you will have to solve a puzzle to help the little bird out and unlock the next area.
Lower the Log With the Pink Vines
Once you reach the Unhatched Egg area of the level, first, you will need to change Mio into her Monkey form. You will notice some pink vines on a log to the right side of the eggs. Jump onto those vines as Monkey Mio and lower the connected log.
After you drop down from there, pick up the unhatched egg as either Zoe or Mio. You will then need to carry the egg to the stone structure that resembles a seesaw. Trust us, it is not a random design and will come in handy.
Clear Two Objectives With One Egg
You can safely place the egg on the nest that is on the left end of the structure. Then, transform into Zoe’s tree avatar and connect her vines to the flowers near the rest of the eggs. Once you have done so, Zoe will be able to grab the hanging log with a giant flower. Pull it back, and at the same time, make Mio in her monkey form stand at the other side of the stone seesaw. Then, use Mio’s ground pound to launch the egg up in the air and release the log as Zoe.
You will need to time this well. If you are successful, the log will push the egg into the blocked-off area, which will clear the way and help the baby bird break out of the egg. Lastly, the bird will be able to go back to its family, and you will be able to reach the next section of the Underlands in Split Fiction.
