Epic Games has finally partnered with Fortnite content creator Clix to release his very own Icon Series skin collection.
Content creator Cody “Clix” Conrod celebrated getting his first Icon Skin after years of making Fortnite content. Clix said he worked with publisher Epic Games on his skin for 15 months and was excited to reveal the skin to his fans. Fortnite’s Icon Skins are special cosmetics that were created in partnership with some of the biggest pro players and streamers.
The YouTuber posted his first Fortnite video in April 2018, which went viral overnight and gained over 300,000 views. His channel grew rapidly, and he became one of the top Fortnite creators with over 3.3 million YouTube subscribers. He now creates Fortnite content on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch and has a large audience on all his platforms.
Despite Clix’s success as a pro player and content creator, he never got his Icon skin. Content creators and Fortnite fans often questioned why Epic Games did not release an Icon skin for the popular creator who qualified for the Fortnite World Cup five times. After nearly seven years of making Fortnite content, Epic Games has finally announced an Icon skin featuring Clix.
Clix Worked on the Skin With Epic Games for 15 Months
During a livestream on March 17, 2025, Clix announced to his audience:
“Chat! Chat! Chat! We got an Icon Skin! W in the chat! Right now! Chat. Ws in the chat right now bruh, Ws in the chat right now bruh. I’m literally shaking. I’m literally shaking. Oh my god. I’m so nervous.”

The YouTuber revealed that he worked on the skins for 15 months. He asked his audience if they liked the skins, and most fans seemed to like the new Icon skins featuring the content creator. He then explained what cosmetics are included in the bundle and how excited he was to finally be included as one of the Icon Series content creators.
Fortnite To Celebrate the Launch of the New Icon Skins
The new skins will be available on March 22, 2025, at 5 PM PT (Pacific Time). The only way to get the skins is through V-Bucks, Fortnite’s digital premium currency. V-Bucks can be earned or purchased through gameplay. The bundle is expected to be priced at $25, and the cosmetics can be purchased separately too for $5-15.
Epic Games is celebrating the launch of the new Clix skins by releasing a custom map featuring Clix. Fans can check out the new map on March 22, 2025 (Island Code: 9730-2169-8778). Gamers who purchase the bundle will receive:
- Default Outfit
- Gamer Style Outfit
- Bear Back Bling
- Chain Linx Wrap
- Soggy Snap Emote
- Groove Emote
- 2-Ply TP Hammer Pickaxe
Fortnite players can obtain the bundle for free by participating in an in-game event called the Clix Icon Cup. The event will take place on March 21, 2025, and the top teams from each region will get the bundle for free. There are consolation prizes like the Sparx Outfit and a Dr3amin Spray up for grabs as well for teams that don’t secure top spots.
