Is There Romance in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has multiple romance options for both Naoe and Yasuke, and this article sheds some light on how they end up.

You will come across several characters with unique personalities while playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows. While not all of them will end up being your allies, you will have lots of missions and conversations, along with some rather flirty banter. And if you choose the right dialogues, some of these will lead to interesting romantic opportunities.

To put it short, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has multiple romance options, although there is none between Yasuke and Naoe. That said, you will need to select the right dialogues and also choose to spare some lives in order to get them. In this article, we will provide a basic overview of the romance options in AC Shadows for both of our protagonists.

Are There Multiple Romance Options in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Yes, there are multiple romance options in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Yasuke, our brave and bold samurai, has only one romance option, whereas Naoe has two. To get the romance sections, you will have to properly select the dialogues for both Yasuke and Naoe. Generally, any dialogue that has the “heart” symbol will progress the romantic aspect. As such, pay close attention to the dialogue options for the characters mentioned in the next part.

Here is a basic outline of how the romance goes for both characters.

Yasuke’s Romance Options

Yasuke’s has only one romance option in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:

• Lady Oichi

Lady Oichi is the sister of the late warlord Oda Nobunaga. Right from their first interaction, sparks between the two characters will be evident. However, you will need to make a rather difficult choice in order to actually get the full romantic experience with Lady Oichi.

Naoe’s Romance Options

Naoe has two romance options in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:

• Gennojo
• Katsuhime

Gennojo is a thief-turned-ally who has the typical playboy mindset that somehow attracts Naoe (or the player, I don’t question anyone’s choices here). Katsuhime, on the other hand, is a Koga shinobi, much like Naoe herself. In both these cases, there will be a string of other missions that you will have to complete to successfully romance them.
