Clix called out Fortnite developer Epic Games for making his Icon Skin series skin shorter than other popular cosmetics in the game.

Fortnite content creator Cody “Clix” Conrod recently announced his Icon Series skin in partnership with the game’s developer Epic Games. Icon Series skins are special cosmetics that are themed after popular content creators and esports pros in the Fortnite community. After looking at his Icon series skin in-game Clix realized that it looked too short and he called out the developer.
The streamer joked about being upset at Epic Games for making him look short during a livestream on March 19, 2025. His chat erupted and joked that the skin looked realistic and was representative of his real height. Clix compared his skin to other popular cosmetics and said Epic Games needs to edit his skin.
Epic Games has not responded to Clix’s comments about the cosmetic. The streamer thinks that the skins are bugged and wants Epic Games to fix them. His skin bundle releases on March 22, 2025, and Epic Games will likely fix the skins if they are shorter than intended.

During a recent livestream, Clix received early access to his Icon skins. He showed them to his chat and said:
“Okay why is this short? No, no, no, no, no…why is this short in-game? Why is this short? I swear? I swear the other characters are taller. Yo, he looks short! Yo, yo, yo, we need to edit it…Fortnite, I’m not even joking.”

The streamer compared his Icon skin to other content creators’ cosmetics and realized that the Clix bundle skins were seemingly shorter than usual. He added:
“No, no no, they made me short. This is insane! No, no, no, no. Oh my god! Why is he actually short? Wait, wait, wait….DUDE!”
His outrage led to a funny moment on stream and he joked about it. The streamer wants the upcoming skins to get a height increase but Epic Games has not responded so far.
The Streamer Seemingly Spent 15 Months Working On the Skin
Clix was excited to announce that he finally got an Icon Series skin after seemingly working on it with Epic Games for 15 months. He said during a recent livestream:
“Chat! Chat! Chat! We got an Icon Skin! W in the chat! Right now! Chat. Ws in the chat right now bruh, Ws in the chat right now bruh. I’m literally shaking. I’m literally shaking. Oh my god. I’m so nervous.”
