Neon Revenge is the second chapter of Split Fiction that sees Mio and Zoe enter the sci-fi author’s cyberpunk-themed story as ninjas on a mission to assassinate the head of the SRI crime syndicate. After using Mio’s gravity shift to make their way across the rooftops in the Flipped Cityscapes mission, the two commandeer a bike to reach the SRI headquarters. As they hop onto the bike with the syndicate’s goons hot on their tail, the Gravity Bike mission begins.

For this mission, Mio drives the bike, steering with directional controls, accelerating, jumping over obstacles, and using her gravity sword on purple tiles to cause gravity shifts. Whenever the player controlling Mio sees glowing purple tiles, they should attempt a gravity shift. Riding pillion, Zoe dishes out the damage with her gravity whip, grabbing objects and launching them at flying SRI cars, bikes, and ships. She can also stop incoming missiles and throw them back at the enemy.

Section 1 – Rooftop Jumps

The mission begins with Mio driving the bike through the showroom’s glass window and onto the adjoining rooftop. There are three ramps of solar panels on the roof (despite the perpetual lack of sunlight) which you need to accelerate over. In the meantime, Zoe should continuously pick up nearby objects and lob them at the two flying cars ahead.

After the third ramp, Mio needs to jump over the wall at the end of the passageway. As you launch yourself off the edge of the building, use Mio’s gravity sword to gravity shift onto the skyscraper wall on the right. A gunship will appear and begin firing missiles at you. Zoe needs to pluck the missiles out of the sky using her whip and hurl them back at the ship and the hostile cars accompanying it. Continue to gravity shift until a ship drops cyber ninjas ahead of you. Zoe can displace the ninjas using her whip and throw them at other enemies.

Section 2 – Dodging Blockades

There are two routes ahead: the left path is easier, and the one up the stairs on the right involves maneuvers in tight spaces. Past the golden statue, turn slightly left to land squarely on the next rooftop. Jump to the parallel platform on the left, to avoid the red barrier ahead. Continue to jump the bike right to left across the platforms until you encounter a roadblock. Jump over the roadblock and gravity shift onto the building ahead. Gravity shift again to stick to the ceiling and pass over a series of rooftop pools. Zoe can pick up pool toys and floaties and throw them at enemies to disrupt their aim.

In the following section, take either fork in the road, but the route on the right is the easiest. After jumping across a series of suspended platforms, perform a gravity shift to become upright, and then shift onto the side of a skyscraper. More cyber ninjas will appear, but Zoe can make short work of them. Continue gravity shifting until the self-destruct protocol is activated.

Section 3 – Self Destruct

In the next section, the bike’s self-destruct sequence will count down as Zoe tries to abort it. Mio has to drive in a relatively straight path while gravity-shifting whenever the opportunity presents itself. In the meantime, Zoe tries to abort the sequence while struggling through Captchas, terms and conditions, face scans, and the greatest annoyances a phone can throw at you.

Going through all phone puzzles successfully is optional since the mission’s outcome will remain the same, but doing so will reward you with the ‘You Are Not a Robot’ achievement. As the authors ditch the self-destructing bike, the mission will end, giving way to the Skyscraper Climb mission next.
