Discover the 5 most iconic locations in Assassin’s Creed games and how accurate they are to their real-life counterparts.

Assassin’s Creed’s main thing has always been recreating historical events and locations faithfully while adding their own unique twist. Ubisoft has recreated some very gorgeous locations from all over the world. These include places such as England, the USA, and Japan. So, we will be listing down the 5 most iconic and beautiful locations in Assassin’s Creed.
1. Jerusalem

Jerusalem is a place of great historical importance in the real world’s history. So, the fact that the original Assassin’s Creed managed to recreate a medieval version of Jerusalem is a great accomplishment. While there are similarities to the modern-day version of Jerusalem, Ubisoft took many creative liberties with its medieval version. However, the best part is that it all works beautifully.
While the scale of the city isn’t as grand as other locations on this list, medieval-era enthusiasts can still appreciate this version of Jerusalem for its aesthetic.
2. Pyramids of Giza

The recreation of the pyramids of Giza is widely regarded to be Ubisoft’s greatest technical achievement. Ubisoft modeled these pyramids and their locations after their real-life counterparts and restored them to their peak state. These pyramids shine like they would’ve back then and can be climbed. In addition, it is also possible to venture inside the pyramids, further adding to how much effort Ubisoft put in here.
Exploring the pyramids on this level is something 99 percent of people will not be able to do in their lifetimes. So, playing Assassin’s Creed Origins is the best way to observe these historical monuments.
3. Paris

Ubisoft also recreated a gorgeous version of Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity, during the height of the French Revolution. The developers did a fantastic job here as well, as Paris is almost the same as its real-life counterpart, except dialed back almost 300 years. Everything from the historical landmarks to the beautiful houses and streets of the slums is faithfully recreated by Ubisoft.
Paris is one of the most beautiful cities ever recreated by Ubisoft and is a major part of why Unity is underrated.
4. Colosseum of Rome

The Colosseum of Rome made its appearance in Assassin’s Creed 2 and became fully explorable in Brotherhood. Ubisoft did a stellar job yet again with this place, allowing for full exploration of its walls and the arena inside. Additionally, the lower levels are also fully explorable and are full of dungeons and run-down structures. This degree of attention to detail is very impressive, as they subtly allude to the original purpose of the Colosseum, back during the height of the Roman Empire.
5. London

Ubisoft also beautifully recreated London during the Second Industrial Revolution. They faithfully recreated many iconic landmarks, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and many more. Additionally, they also got the aesthetic of the place right. With carriages patrolling the streets, smoke from factories in the sky, and the outfits of the people, it is yet another technical achievement by Ubisoft.
