Unlocking Curses and Blessings in Rune Slayer isn’t just a flex; it’s your ticket to crushing foes with style. These boss-dropped abilities pack a punch, but they’ll test your grit with quirky costs and faction locks. Right now, only two exist: the Curse of the Dune Dragon and the Blessing of the Cho, each tied to the Withered Thicket’s nastiest bosses.
Don’t expect a free ride. Draining Focus, Mana, or HP is the price of power, and you’ll need the right fairy pet to even get started. New drops might arrive in future updates, but for now, master these.
All Curses and Blessings in Rune Slayer Roblox
Right now, Rune Slayer features two unique abilities: one Curse and one Blessing. These abilities are tied to your sect, either Demon or Holy. Both require specific pets to function. You can only activate them after obtaining a rare scroll from a boss drop. Below is a breakdown of each, along with how to get them.
Curse of the Dune Dragon
This is a powerful but risky skill meant for Demon Sect players. When activated, it drains both your Focus and HP to deal significant damage. However, it only works if you have the Fire Fairy pet equipped. If you’re part of the Holy Sect, you can’t use this Curse at all.
- Magic requirement: 7
- Drains: 100 Focus
- Cooldown: 60 minutes
- Required pet: Fire Fairy
- Sect restriction: Demon Sect only
How to get it
You need to obtain the Curse of Eclipse Scroll. This scroll is a potential drop from the Goblin King in the Withered Thicket. It’s considered Legendary rarity. Some players also report that the Dreadful Licht King has a chance to drop it, although this hasn’t been confirmed officially.
Blessing of the Cho
This ability is available only to Holy Sect players. It allows you to summon a creature in battle, at the cost of some Mana and HP. It only works if you have the Earth Fairy pet equipped. Without it, you can’t use the Blessing.
- Drains: Mana and HP (exact numbers not confirmed)
- Effect: Summons a battle creature
- Required pet: Earth Fairy
- Sect restriction: Holy Sect only
How to get it
You need to find the Cho Blessing Scroll. This is a potential drop from the Dreadful Licht King in the Withered Thicket. It’s the counterpart to the Curse of Eclipse Scroll. Additionally, there are reports that the Goblin King may also drop the Cho Blessing Scroll, but that’s less certain.
Right now, these are the only two Curses and Blessings available in Rune Slayer. However, future updates are likely to introduce more. Until then, focus on farming the correct bosses, getting the required pets, and aligning your character with the right sect. The power these abilities bring is significant, but only if you meet every condition.
