For players just stepping into the shoes of a CCG Investigator, the Scorpion Quinque is one of the most practical weapons to craft. It’s straightforward, powerful enough to carry you through early battles, and can later be upgraded into a more lethal version – Scorpion v2.
This guide breaks down exactly what you need to do to unlock, craft, and evolve this weapon. From earning your first Standard Issue Quinque to collecting the right materials and blueprints, everything you need to know is laid out step-by-step.
Scorpion Quinque in GHOUL://RE
To get started, you need to unlock access to the Crafting Bench. First, reach Rank 1 Investigator. Once that’s done, head to the CCG Headquarters and speak to Investigator Asahi. Pay 100 Yen to receive your Standard Issue Quinque. This action will unlock the Crafting Bench inside the laboratory at headquarters.
With the bench unlocked, the next step is to acquire the Scorpion Quinque Blueprint. Moreover, you can only get it by defeating regular and mission bosses. The drop isn’t guaranteed, so you’ll need to keep farming them until it appears.
Once you’ve secured the Blueprint, you’ll need to gather the following materials to craft the weapon:
- 3 Kagune Sacs
- 1 Bikaku Fragment
- 5 Gold
- 10 Steel
- 15 Bronze
These items drop from mission and raid bosses. Some also come from reward chests after boss fights. Once you have everything, head back to the Crafting Bench, select the Scorpion Quinque, and complete the crafting process.
Evolve Scorpion Quinque
After crafting the Scorpion Quinque, you can evolve it into Scorpion v2, which offers improved performance in both PvE and PvP. However, evolving the weapon requires rarer and more specific materials.
To evolve Scorpion, collect the following:
- 5 Kakuja Fragments: Craft these by combining 5 Bikaku Fragments, 5 Ukaku Fragments, 5 Koukaku Fragments, and 5 Rinkaku Fragments.
- 2 Refined Bikaku Fragments: These are typically awarded for defeating higher-level bosses.
- 20 Bikaku Fragments, 15 Kagune Sacs, 10 Steel, 25 Bronze: Continue to engage with various bosses to amass these resources.
Once you’ve collected everything, return to the Crafting Bench, select Scorpion from your available weapons, and choose the option to evolve it. The evolved version, Scorpion v2, is significantly stronger and much better suited for late-game challenges.
