The newest Blue Lock Rivals patch is live, and it pushes the pace harder than ever. Headlining this update is a full rework of King, giving him a faster, sharper, and more punishing set of moves. He now plays like a true predator on the field with new dribbles, upgraded shots, and an awakened form that turns pressure into power.
Alongside this, the limited-time Goal Rush Duos mode is here to test coordination and speed as pairs battle to score the most goals under pressure. There’s also a wide set of new cosmetics and emotes, each more expressive than the last.
Blue Lock Rivals Patch Notes
The patch brings two major updates to the game: a complete rework of King and the introduction of the limited-time Goal Rush Duos mode. Both features are designed to push players into faster, more aggressive playstyles, while offering new rewards and cosmetics to chase.
King Rework
Start with King. His kit has been rebuilt to give players more control, speed, and offensive potential.
- Lion Chop Feint: A quick, unpredictable feint that ragdolls defenders. You can use it to break ankles and follow it up with a dash to create space. Comes with 2 charges.
- King’s Dribble: A triple zig-zag feint that helps close gaps and dodge defenders, perfect for setting up goal attempts.
- King’s Impact: A powerful shot that activates after completing King’s Dribble.
His awakened form, King of the Jungle, enhances the base abilities.
- King’s Dribble and King’s Impact are faster and hit harder in this mode.
- Predation allows you to grab a loose ball and immediately launch a devastating shot toward the goal. This move rewards fast reactions and aggressive play.
Goal Rush Duos Mode
Now shift focus to Goal Rush Duos. This limited-time mode puts two-player teams in a match against a goalkeeper while racing against other duos to score the most goals. It’s built for fast-paced action and rewards synergy between partners.
To match the intensity of this mode, the Goal Rush Shop features new unlockables:
- Emotes: Rat Dance, Duo Dap, Rock Paper Scissors
- Goal Effects: Cheese Effect, Rat Dance Effect, World Cup Winner Trophy, Stars Effect, Trophy Effect
Additional Features
Beyond gameplay, the update adds a variety of cosmetics to customize your presence on the field.
- Player Cards: Lion’s Pride, Portugal Card
