Here are the best settings for Enshrouded to dial in with your RDNA 2 powered AMD RX 6900 XT and RX 6950 XT Graphics cards.

Nostalgia hits me hard whenever I speak about the AMD RX 6900 XT and the 6950 XT. A time when AMD sprang up being competitive, trading blows with the RTX 3090 and the RTX 3090 Ti, respectively. I wish the present were the same. Anyway, these GPUs are packed in 80CUs, a monolithic design that is long gone today. When it comes to Enshrouded, gamers using either of these GPUs can smooth-sail through the eye candy settings even at 4K. With some tuning to our settings below, you can easily run Native AA, provided you find FSR taking a hit on the image quality. The only downside of these two GPUs is the VRAM. I believe if AMD had put in 24GB like Nvidia with the 3090 and Ti, then the entire history would have changed.
We are discussing the complete RDNA 2 chip here. Both GPUs can easily handle an intensive voxel-based rendering load. I’ve used upscaling here because gamers with these enthusiast-grade GPUs mostly play on Linux. Even if they are in Windows, they have the best high-refresh-rate monitors. That said, below are the settings that will help you have a great Enshrouded experience.
Best Settings for RX 6900 and 6950 XT in Enshrouded (1440p and 4K Optimized)

If you encounter crashing issues or error codes like VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST, device hung, or black screens with TDR timeouts, roll back to older drivers—24.12.1 or 24.5.1—for greater stability. According to gamers, these AMD drivers deliver the most stable gaming experience and are prone to working better with Enshrouded.
That said, if you do not encounter any crashes but have gameplay issues such as micro-stuttering, visual artifacts, and inconsistencies within the image, consider referring to the LiaNdrY/Enshrouded-Tool-Fix Github repository. The suite’s toolset deals with Vulkan API issues, shader corruption, texture glitches, and other image inconsistencies. You can visit the repository manually or use the method below to get it on Windows.
