In Blue Prince, you go on a unique adventure. You’re Simon, a guy who has just received a mansion from a distant relative. The 45-room mansion apparently hides a secret 46th room that Simon needs to uncover. Only then will he be able to claim the mansion as his own. Where’s the catch, you ask? Well, the rooms in the mansion constantly shift every night. Every morning, Simon will need to draft more rooms until he can finally reach room number 46.
However, every door he crosses also costs footsteps. You only have a limited number of footsteps before the day ends and the next day begins. A new day means all rooms again shift randomly to new places.
As Simon, you’ll have to uncover clues about the different rooms and figure out the layout of the mansion. Along the way, there are various tools to discover and secrets to uncover. Even before the game’s release, it received rave reviews from critics. Many expect Blue Prince to be a genre-defining title that may inspire others like it in the future.
