Survival is about satiating hunger and crafting potions, but it is also about defeating enemies. Threats lurk all over Ashenfall, and you need the best weapons and armor if you wish to survive. The Bronze Greatsword is one such weapon that will greatly boost your chances of survival in the game.
The Bronze Greatsword is the first of the many greatswords you will find in RuneScape Dragonwilds. This weapon may be slow and heavy but it hits like an absolute truck. It is also more than capable of handling crowds if you play it smart. This is one of the best early-game weapons in the game, and one we recommend if you’re into the playstyle the Greatswords offer.

How To Get Bronze Greatsword in RuneScape Dragonwilds

You get a Bronze Greatsword in RuneScape Dragonwilds through crafting. You require the following items to craft the Bronze Greatsword:
- 10x Bronze Bars
- 4x Leather
- 2x Wool Thread
The Bronze Bars are out in the Fractured Plains but can also be crafted. If opting for the latter, you can craft 1x Bronze Bar using 3x Copper Ores and 3x Tin Ores. Combine these items at the Furnace to get the Bronze Bars. Similarly, you will also need to craft the Wool Thread. You craft Wool Thread using Fleece, an item obtained from sheep. Run Fleece through the Spinning Wheel to get the Wool Thread you need. Lastly, you get Leather by running Animal Hide through the Tannery.
Once you have all the items you need, it is time to craft the Bronze Greatsword. Take the items and head over to the Smithing Anvil. If you don’t have one already, craft one using 6x Bronze Bars, 20x Ash Logs, 8x Coarse Threads, and 1x Vault Core. Combine all the items in the Smithing Anvil to Smith and get the Bronze Greatsword.
