Runescape Dragonwilds is a survival craft game, which means you’ll spend a good chunk of your time building stuff in the game. You could be building furnaces, shelters, looms, settlements, and so much more. If you’re building anything at all, there’s a good chance that you’re in need of planks.
Planks in Runescape Dragonwilds are one of the core crafting ingredients in the game. A big reason for this is their involvement in building walls, beds, and other furniture. The ingredient is also essential for crafting more complex items such as Looms, Tanner’s Kit, Support Walls, and much more. The planks are especially necessary in unlocking an extra slot for the Tannery, giving you access to better equipment.
If you’re someone looking to cruise through with the best possible equipment, you need the planks. How To Get Planks in Runescape Dragonwilds

There are two types of planks you can get in Runescape Dragonwilds: Ash Planks and Oak Planks. These planks are not found out in the wild as is and instead need to be crafted using Ash or Oak Logs. First, you need to head out into the wild and chop the trees you see. Alternatively, you’ll often find the Ash/Oak Logs lying beneath the base of many of the trees. Explore thoroughly to find the logs.
Once we have the wooden logs, we next need a Sawmill. You craft a Sawmill using 18x Ash Logs, 4x Bronze Bars, 8x Stone. With the ingredients in hand, open the crafting menu and click on the Sawmill under the ‘Processing’ section.
With the Sawmill in place, head over to it and interact with it by pressing the ‘E’ key. Interacting with the Sawmill will open up a menu. In this menu, select the Ash/Oak Logs from the inventory section on the left, and then place them on the Sawmill slot. The Sawmill will process the logs and turn them into Ash/Oak Planks, giving you the planks you need.
