As stated earlier, poison is your main hurdle when exploring the Bloodblight Swamp. If you can survive the poison, half the battle is already won. Your first measure to survive the Bloodblight Swamp should be to gain resistance to poison. You can do so by eating the Grilled Mushroom food item, which grants you temporary resistance to the status effect. Find Bittercap Mushrooms in the Whispering Swamp and cook them using fuel to get the Grilled Mushrooms.

The next item you need is the Anti-Poison potion. You craft the Anti-Poison potion using 1x Harralander, 1x Bittercap Mushroom,  and 1x Clay Vessel. You will find Harralander in the Whispering Swamp, while the Clay Vessel is obtained by making it using pottery and then running it through the Kiln. Assemble the items at the Brewing Cauldron to craft the Anti-Poison potion.

Once the poison is dealt with, the next thing you have to worry about is the enemies. The enemies hit hard, so it is important to arm yourself with high-tier armor. Next, we recommend fighting from a distance using arrows and spells, using trees to take cover and create a distance. If using a melee weapon, carry a shield to defend yourself.
