If you have played any RPG before, you know that every title has an intricate and unique leveling system, including Oblivion Remastered. In this game, you gain experience by doing various tasks. After your experience reaches a certain threshold, a bronze icon with an arrow and crescent moon appears in the top-right corner of your screen. The icon indicates that you have gained enough experience to level up.

After the icon appears, you need to find a bed to sleep. In Oblivion Remastered, you do not level up automatically—you must first find a bed and sleep in it for at least an hour. Doing so actually levels you up, and you can then make changes to your attributes. This is a new leveling system unique to Oblivion Remastered.

Fortunately, the experience you gain after reaching the threshold for leveling up is stored. In other words, even after you level up, you may notice your experience bar is already partially filled. This means you do not lose any experience points. Oblivion Remastered’s leveling system is beneficial because it allows you to plan your stat distribution in peace after you wake up in-game.

Why Should You Level Up?

Leveling up in Oblivion Remastered comes with several benefits and no downsides. You receive 12 Virtues per level-up, which can be allocated across three attributes. Attributes enhance various aspects of your character, helping in many situations, both in and out of combat.
