This boss towers over you and your party, instilling a sense of hopelessness. Despite its massive size, the boss remains deceptively fast and lands hits in a flash. The boss tests both your reflexes and your knowledge of weaknesses and resistances.

Where To Find the Chromatic Troubadour in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
If you haven’t found the Chromatic Troubadour boss in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 yet, you will find him in the Flying Waters region of the game. Start off at the Lumieran Streets and make your way forward while sticking to the left. Take the left from the tower, and continue on through the balcony above. You will come across a ledge with a grapple point below, which will then lead you to the Chromatic Troubadour.

As the fight kicks off, the thing you’ll immediately notice is the green glow on the Chromatic Troubadour’s head. This is a weak point, so enter free aim and shoot at it to deal a large chunk of damage. In addition to the weak spot, the boss is also weak to Light, while tremendously resistant to Dark. You’ll have to use Light-based weapons and attacks to deal the most damage.
The boss is no slouch and will hit back right at you. The attack you need to watch out for is the Tricky Shot. In this, the Chromatic Troubadour will lift his trumpet and blow twice right into it to launch two orbs, before following this with a wide swing. This attack has a total of three hits. The first is the wide swing, followed by the two orbs that hover into the air before crashing into you. All three can be parried. Parry the attacks and counterattack to chip away at the HP and defeat the Chromatic Troubadour.
