This guide dives into whether you should kill the Sewing Nevron in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. You meet this NPC in the Sirene region.

In Clair Obscur Expedition 33, not everything that moves is automatically an enemy. There are several friendly faces throughout the continent, including Gestrals, Nevrons, and others. However, the game also presents you with the option to attack some of these allied creatures if you are hungry for better loot or items.
The Sewing Nevron is one such friendly face that you’ll meet while exploring the Sirene region of the game’s map. Better known as Tisseur, he works a sewing machine peacefully and will not initiate a fight if you don’t attack him first. But it’s still beneficial if you attack and slay him as soon as you face him in the game. In this guide, we’ll explain why you should attack and kill the Sewing Nevron in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 or let it live.
Why Should You Attack the Sewing Nevron in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?

Even though Tisseur won’t pose a threat to you when you first meet him, the Nevron will become a headache when you start the battle with the region’s main boss, Sirene. If you spare Tisseur before, Sirene will get the Nevron involved in its fight with you. At this point, Sirene will receive four shields that you’ll need to break through before you can chip away at the boss’s health. Besides that, Tisseur will also become hostile to you. So, now you’ll need to fight against the Sewing Nevron at the same time as Sirene, making matters much more complicated.
So, regardless of whether you attack Tisseur when you first run into him or not, the Nevron will end up dead by the end of your encounter with the Sirene Boss. Not killing him earlier only makes matters difficult later on. Apart from lowering the difficulty of the Sirene fight slightly, killing the Sewing Nevron earlier also gives you access to some cool loot.

Rewards for Killing the Sewing Nevron in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Regardless of when you kill Tisseur, he’ll drop some interesting loot, including a new weapon called Tissenum for Maelle and an Anti-Charm Picto. While the weapon is great for a defensive build with Maelle, you’ll really want the Anti-Charm Picto equipped on your characters before the Sirene boss fight.
The Picto can protect your squad against the Charm attacks that Sirene unleashes. If you don’t have the Picto effect during the battle, your squad members can attack their allies during the fight as a result of Sirene’s Charm moves. So, even though it might seem harsh, killing the Sewing Nevron early on is the best move here.
