To begin the Elven Maiden quest in Oblivion Remastered, you must fulfill certain requirements. These are:

  • Complete the Untaxing the Poor quest
  • Fence 100 Gold

Once you meet both criteria, travel to the Imperial City Waterfront District. If you have completed other Thieves Guild quests, you have probably already encountered Armand Christophe. Similarly, you need to locate him for this task. Next, interact with him near midnight to gather intel about the quest.

Stealing the Bust of Llathasa Indarys

Armand will task you with retrieving the Bust of Llathasa Indarys. For this, head to the Cheydinhal West Gate. Once there, go near the cemetery and find a beggar named Bruccius the Orphan. He will guide you to the Great Chapel of Arkay to find the item.

Once you are at the Chapel, follow these detailed instructions to collect the item:

  • Enter the Chapel, and drop down a floor to arrive at the Door to Chapel Undercroft.
  • Use lockpicks to enter, continue down the hallway, and then take the path towards the left.
  • You will arrive at Llathasa’s tomb, where the Bust of Llathasa Indarys is placed beside it. Collect the bust and quickly exit to avoid a confrontation with the ghost guarding it.

Finding Armand

With the bust in your possession, it’s time to hand it over to Armand. However, to your surprise, you won’t be able to find him. Therefore, locate Methredhel, another member of the Thieves Guild. Once you talk to her, she will inform you that a new guild member, Myvryna Arano, has gotten Armand arrested. Now, to save him, you must frame Myvryna for the robbery.

To frame Myvryna Arano, go to her house located in the Waterfront District. Enter the house and secretly place the bust inside Myvryna’s cupboard near her bed. Afterward, track down Hieronymus Lex and inform him that Myvryna Arano has stolen the bust. He will then search Myvryna’s house and arrest her.

To finish the quest, return to the starting position near the Waterfront District to collect your reward.

That was all about the Elven Maiden quest in Oblivion Remastered.
