Here we will be discussing the new jungle update and all that is included with it in the popular survival RPG game Rust.
Rust has been around for over a decade now, with its official full release dating back to February 2018. Yet this game shows no signs of slowing down while still being super popular amongst its fans. This is due to how lively the developers have managed to keep the game with all the updates over the years.

New Jungle Biome in Rust
Environmental Features
With the new Jungle update, you will have a lot more explorable ground to cover. A fresh and lush, dense jungle with unique trees to get lost within, admiring nature’s beauty at its finest. One of the major features of the new update is the ability to scale trees. Prior to this, trees were just static assets that you could use to harvest wood. But now they can be used for much more, like climbing and using vines to swing from tree to tree. George of the Jungle approves.
This new mechanism can help enhance your stealth abilities. There are new cave systems integrated as well, adding plenty more depth and exploration options.
New Animals

| Crocodiles | These ferocious reptiles are both fast and dangerous in water as well as on land, offering a new depth of challenge. |
| Panthers and Tigers | Keep your eyes wide open as these wild beasts lurk around in the shadows, waiting to strike and drag their prey with them. |
| Snakes | Hate jump scares? I got some bad news, as you now have to be aware of sudden strikes from any nook and corner. But you do get some sweet resources like fat and venom from them. |
New Weapons

| Blowpipe | This is a great additional stealth item, offering you darts to quickly incapacitate your enemies. |
| Boomerang | Helps save on vital resources as a quick distraction and a returnable item. If used strategically, it will prove super useful. |
New Skins and Items
A fresh set of cosmetics is now available for both the player and the buildings to add more depth and to make the experience feel as lively and immersive as possible. The buildings will get more stone-structured and weathered skins, helping them fit right in place with the theme of the jungle. You will also be able to adorn some new jungle-themed skins.
