The Legion 9i Gen 10 is fitted with some of the best technology and components on the market right now. Thus, it is capable of excelling across all workloads. At its heart is the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, along with the mobile RTX 5090 GPU. Such key specifications ensure that it runs even the most demanding games and software effortlessly.

Moreover, the Legion 9i Gen 10 supports up to 192GB of DDR5 memory. This RAM capacity grants it a major increase in multitasking capabilities over the previous models. There is ample storage flexibility, too, with space for up to four M.2 SSDs. Such upgrade options make this laptop future-proof.

The Legion 9i Gen 10’s 18-inch display is one of its most standout features. In the standard variant, you get a 4K panel, featuring a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. If you prefer a variant that is more suited for competitive gaming, the display can also be switched to 1080p, 440 Hz. Lenovo calls this the dual-mode display, and it looks like a useful, versatile feature.

Furthermore, with this gaming laptop, Lenovo has introduced an optional glasses-free 3D mode. Using integrated eye tracking and a lenticular lens array, the laptop renders a 3D display at half resolution. This feature further solidifies the innovative display that provides new viewing options without the need for 3D glasses.

Power and Performance

When you get this laptop, you will also receive a 400W power adapter. This adapter is responsible for supplying a total of 280 watts of power distribution between the GPU and the CPU under max load. Being top-of-the-line components, they are understandably power-hungry, no matter how efficient they may be.

Expected Pricing and Market Availability

Lenovo intends to initially launch the Legion 9i Gen 10 in China in June 2025, with plans for a US release later this fall. While there have been no announcements concerning the pricing, we can safely assume that this laptop will be positioned in the premium segment.

Taking into account that the Legion 9i Gen 9 costs around $5,000 right now, we anticipate the 3D display variant of the Legion 9i Gen 10 to cost about $6,000 to $6,500. We will make sure to provide further pricing details as and when they are available.

Well, that sums up everything that Lenovo’s new gaming flagship has to offer. What are your thoughts on the new features and its specifications?
