In Fire Force Reignition, Infernal Curses are more than flashy party tricks. These combat enhancers slot straight into your move set, letting you crack guards, drain life, or vanish in a puff of blazing smoke.
Getting one is simple in theory: march to the Infernal Base, chat with ‘Trainer ???’, grip a Rank 50 player, and harvest twenty-five Souls without dying. Put in the work, and the game rewards you with Chaos Eater, Leach, Shrapnel, or Screech, each tuned for a different style.

To unlock an Infernal Curse in Fire Force Reignition, head straight to the Infernal Base. Once you’re inside, move to the training area on the ground floor and locate the NPC labeled ‘Trainer ???’. Interact with them to begin the Infernal Curse questline.
The task is simple on paper but requires effort:
- Collect 25 Souls without dying
- Grip a player who is Rank 50 or above
Souls drop when you grip human characters, which includes both NPCs and other players. However, Souls are not guaranteed per grip, so you’ll need to keep grinding until you gather 25. If you die before completing the requirement, your progress resets. That means you’ll need to play smart, avoid unnecessary fights, and focus on staying alive.
Once you meet the requirements, you’ll unlock one of several Infernal Curses, each with its own combat use:
- Chaos Eater: Delivers an explosive strike that can Guard Break on contact. When you slam the ground, you can teleport to the target and land another Guard Break.
- Leach: A direct and brutal HP drain move that pulls 60 health from your opponent. It’s straightforward and ideal for sustained pressure.
- Shrapnel: Turns you invisible for a short time. When you reappear, you automatically strike your target and cause an explosion on impact.
- Screech: Emits a loud scream that disorients all enemies nearby. It can be blocked twice, but the third scream will Guard Break, leaving enemies vulnerable.
Choose your moments wisely, especially in PvP zones. Completing this quest isn’t just about brute force; it’s about patience, timing, and knowing when to strike. So open up the game and get into it!
