Here we will be discussing which would be the right class to start your journey as a beginner in The Slormancer.

The Slormancer has picked up pace as one of the most sought-after RPG dungeon-crawling games at the moment. The game is riddled with things to do, such as exploring the different environments, facing mobs and bosses, or just going on a rampage. Saying that, choosing which character you should begin your journey with could be a conflicting decision. Let us take a look at what class would suit best as a beginner class in The Slormancer.
Knight Class Perfect for Beginners in The Slormancer
The Knight class is one of the three optional classes to pick from in The Slormancer. They are best known for their tank nature and heavy HP. This lets us take more damage without immediately dying. At the same time, they also have the capability to inflict some heavy damage from close range. Like all the other classes, knights have their strong areas as well as their weak areas.
Knight Unique Mechanics
In The Slormancer, there are three sets of unique mechanics for each class. These act as specializations, which add additional playstyles to the class. With each specialized class, a new skill tree is unlocked for further progression.
Distinguished Knight

Strengths:
- Polyvalence
- Crowd Control
- Totems
Banners of War:
In this specialization, you will be able to make the best use of your weapons. You will effectively be able to control a battlefield with your “Banners of War.”
- Banner of provocation: Taunt nearby enemies. Health increases to 264. Max life is equal to 40% of max mana.
- Banner of Regeneration: You get +2 life per hit you execute.
- Banner of Haste: You get an additional attack speed of 17%.
- Banner of Sluggishness: You slow down enemies by 23%.
Haphazard Champion

This specialization has your knight in a state of confusion, relying solely on luck and the help of Astral.
Strengths:
- Luck
- Triggers Effectiveness
- Areas of Effect
Ascension: With this, you can leap high into the sky and land at any targeted location while dealing 91–118 skill damage to any enemy within a yard of 1.50 radius.
Enduring Protector

In this specialization, your knight will place more emphasis on defense rather than attacking and master the art of blocking.
Strengths:
- Defense
- Thorns
- Tenacity
Deflect: You can now create an impenetrable shield around you. This will last for a total of 3 seconds and nullify any melee or projectile attack toward you. Any nullified attack by a deflect will immediately cast a counter technique that deals 31–41 skill damage.
