One of the most important settings in Revenge of the Savage Planet is Snap Targeting. Here’s how you can enable Snap Targeting.

You’ve been abandoned by your company in the far edges of space, and there’s only one thing you can rely on- your Space Trailer and maybe, your friends. Surviving in the unknown might be difficult, but there are a couple of settings you can tweak in the game that make your gameplay better. Snap Targeting is one of them.
Here’s how you can enable Snap Targeting in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
How To Enable Snap Targeting

First, go to Settings>Controls>Find the Snap Targeting option and enable it. Now, if you keep on pressing the ADS button, the game will automatically lock on to targets.
In the game, this setting lets you target resources and enemies better. Exploring 4 different worlds with different flora and fauna will lead you to difficult encounters. Aliens such as the Beetle, who are fast and agile, might be difficult to target. Snap Targeting helps you by locking in your targets and resources as well. This might be one of the better features in the game, as it lets you focus on the more important aspects, such as movement, resource farming, and exploring the alien worlds.
While it is a survival game, Revenge of the Savage Planet does not take itself too seriously, as shown in the trailer. So, ultimately it is all about surviving and having fun while you plot your revenge against the corporate warlords that left you stranded. So, enabling Snap Targeting will just make the game a lot easier, as the shooting part will mostly be trivial for the rest of the game.
The game also supports co-op and couch co-op. With couch co-op, you can play with another friend on the same PC. This was very popular back in the 2000s when computers were expensive and not everyone had the luxury to get one. The couch co-op feature is a throwback to one of gaming’s golden eras. Not many games provide the couch co-op feature, although over the years, games have been implementing this feature. Split Fiction, It Takes Two, and more are some examples where this feature shines the best. Not only that, but the popularity of these games showcases that gamers will play the game, even if it is only half the size of their entire screen.
General Tips for Beginners in Revenge of the Savage Planet
Make sure to keep farming resources throughout the game, as the upgrades will cost you a lot. Resources like Silicon, Aluminum, and Carbon are very important as they will directly upgrade your bases and character upgrades. You can also reset the world by traveling between two teleporters as well. Traveling between them will reset all the mobs, but not resources such as Silicon, as you will have to find specific veins for it.
