Grow a Garden Roblox recently received a new update, which also introduced the Blood Moon Pets. Here is a tier list of the new pets.
Grow a Garden has seen a brand new update this past weekend. The Blood Moon Update or the Blood Moon Event was released on May 17, 2025. It is a limited-time event and has new content to enhance the farming experience. Among the many things introduced with the update, pets have been an exciting one.
The new update sees nine new Blood Moon Pets with unique abilities. These pets can enhance your gardening experience in the game. However, not all the pets are equal. Here is a tier list of all the pets.
Grow a Garden: Blood Moon Pets Tier List
- S-Tier – Top-Tier, Game-Changing Passives.
- A-Tier – Strong, Highly Useful.
- B-Tier – Niche, Situational.
- C-Tier – Limited Use, Low Impact.

| S-Tier | Red Fox (Mythical) | Every ~10 minutes, steals a random seed from another player’s plot and gives it to you. |
| S-Tier | Chicken Zombie/Chicken Jockey (Mythical) | Every 29 minutes, there’s a 20.52% chance a nearby fruit becomes zombified, increasing its value. |
| S-Tier | Blood Hedgehog (Legendary) | Grants ~2x size and ~1.1x variant bonus to prickly fruits (e.g., cacti, pineapples). |
| A-Tier | Blood Kiwi (Legendary) | Sings above the egg with the longest remaining hatch time, reducing hatch time by 45.52 seconds every minute and increasing hatch speed by 20.23%. Multiple Blood Kiwis can stack for faster hatching. |
| A-Tier | Red Giant Ant (Mythical) | 5.13% chance to duplicate crops on harvest, with an extra 5% chance for fruits. |
| A-Tier | Squirrel (Mythical) | 2.53% chance to not consume a seed when planting. |
| B-Tier | Blood Owl (Divine) | All active pets gain ~0.5 extra XP per second. |
| C-Tier | Brown Mouse (Mythical) | Grants 750 bonus XP every 10 minutes and increases player jump height by 10%. |
| C-Tier | Grey Mouse (Mythical) | Grants 500 bonus XP every 10 minutes and increases player movement speed by 10%. |
Note: Pretty much all the pets are available via the Blood Moon Shop (appears every 3 hours for 10 minutes) or Mythical/Night Eggs. However, the Chicken Zombie, which was a free reward for early event players, is no longer obtainable. If you wish to get the Chicken Zombie pet, you have to trade with other players.
