House Flipper 2 initially did not support co-op. However, the latest update might have turned things around.
Frozen District’s House Flipper 2 recently unveiled a new DLC. This adds a bunch of new items, features, and jobs to the game. You can play this DLC already, since it went live on May 15, 2025. However, one of the biggest changes was the addition of co-op support to this game, which will now let you complete the new content in multiplayer.

Initially, House Flipper 2 did not support co-op. However, this feature was announced in January 2025. Frozen District revealed an open beta for the co-op mode. Now, in May 2025, this feature has been fully released for everyone to enjoy. However, this all changed in the most recent update. Update 1.8 added a bunch of new houses and content that can be played in co-op or single-player.
This co-op gameplay is not just limited to any one platform either. House Flipper 2 supports cross-platform co-op gameplay as well. You can play with your friends, regardless of their platform. Additionally, you should know that this feature is for both Story and Sandbox mode.
(Note: Only 4 players can play together at a time.)
How To Play Co-op in House Flipper 2
You will NOT be able to play co-op in the base game. This feature was added in the latest update. However, merely updating the game to the latest version is not the solution. You will have to locate the free co-op DLC for House Flipper 2 and add it to your library. After downloading this DLC, the new co-op content will be added to your game.
Co-op was the main focus of this new content. However, it is not necessary to play with friends. You can complete all the content in single-player mode as well.
You can join another player’s lobby through their lobby code. Ask your friend to share this code with you, or vice versa. You can now use this code to play with your friends in the same lobby.
