BedWars just hit its fourth birthday, and the devs are celebrating with a patch that hands players more toys than ever. All kits unlock for the weekend, letting every squad test builds that once sat behind a paywall.
A daily check-in route leads straight to a free Dodo Evelynn skin, while OG Mode rolls back the clock for anyone craving the bare-bones brawl of early BedWars. Balloons, slime blocks, and a fresh playlist rotation keep matches moving, and a full balance pass polishes rough edges.
BedWars 4th Anniversary Patch Notes (May 23, 2025)
To mark four years of block-breaking battles, BedWars has rolled out a content-heavy update focused on celebration, nostalgia, and freebies. Here’s everything included in the 4th anniversary patch:
- All Kits Free (Limited-Time)
Every single kit is unlocked for all players over the weekend. You can try out any kit without restrictions until Monday 3 PM PST. This is the first time BedWars has made every kit available for free. - Check-In System for Free Rewards
Players can now log in daily and talk to Dodo Whisper in the lobby to receive gift rewards. Completing all check-ins unlocks the Dodo Evelynn Kit Skin, which includes custom daggers, sound effects, and a glowing orb. - Anniversary Kit Skins
- Dodo Whisper Kit Skin – Features a custom owl and fun, unique sound effects.
- Dodo Evelynn Kit Skin – Comes with special daggers, orb visuals, and customized sounds.
- OG Mode (LTM)
A throwback Limited-Time Mode recreates the early BedWars experience while retaining quality-of-life upgrades. Features include:- No kits
- No seasonal mechanics
- Classic combat flow and UI
- Simpler, old-school gameplay for a nostalgic vibe
- Free Kits of the Week (Post-Anniversary Rotation)
After the weekend ends, the game will switch back to a limited free-kit rotation. This change will take effect automatically once the event concludes. - Limited-Time Items Added

Both are now temporarily available in-game. They can affect your movement and building strategy.

- Kit Fusion has been added.

- Bug Fixes
- Fixed Elektra’s blink-to-void issue with Ramil’s Tornado.
- Fixed Sigrid’s mount glitch involving Dodo.
- Fixed Bekzat’s ability key bind malfunction.
