How To Obtain Blood Transfusion Spell in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon
As already mentioned, the Blood Transfusion spell can be obtained in three different ways. Here is how each of them works:
- While conversing with the guard during the prologue, choose mage and pick the subclass healer. This unlocks the Blood Transfusion spell right away from the beginning.
- If you didn’t choose the above option, you still have a chance to obtain it shortly during the prologue. After getting out of the cage in Island Asylum and fighting the undead, you will eventually pass by a Chapel. However, its entry is blocked by a gate. Use your pickaxe to clear the rock debris near the gate to gain access to the Chapel area. The Blood Transfusion magic sheet is placed on the altar right next to a bowl. Interact with the sheet to obtain the Blood Transfusion spell.
- If you miss both earlier opportunities, you still have another alternative way to earn this powerful spell. Head to the Blood Lake area in the Horns of the South. There, pray to the statue in the center of the lake to receive the Blood Transfusion spell.

The Blood Transfusion is both a healing and an offensive spell. Like other spells in the game, it has Light and Heavy casting variations, each with unique effects. The following are the base stats of the Blood Transfusion spell.
- The Light Cast shoots a projectile that applies the Bleed status effect to enemies. It consumes 5 Mana and deals 3-4 Damage.
- The Heavy Cast channels directly into the enemy. It continuously drains health from the enemy and heals you instead. It heals 2 health per second, costing 7 Mana.
