Wyrd Soul Power is one of the most important features in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Unfortunately, without a proper tutorial, the existence of this gameplay feature might confuse you. That’s what we are here to change today. For starters, the Wyrd Soul Power is the blue meter under your health bar in the bottom left corner of the screen.

When the said blue bar is full, pressing T (default key) on the keyboard while fighting will unleash a powerful ability. The ability depends on your class and build. The abilities can range from slowing time or dealing AoE damage to even buffing you.

If you wish to recharge this Wyrd Soul Power, you will need to fight enemies. This, unfortunately, is the slowest way of recharging the meter. Spending Ethereal Cobwebs at a bonfire will instantly fill the useful blue bar. The bonfire technique is useful after a boss fight or exploring a dungeon. If you are looking to recharge the meter on the go, you will have to fight and kill enemies or take damage to fill the meter.

The best time to press T in a fight is to save it for an emergency. However, waiting too long to press the key might be counterproductive. We say that because cobwebs are not that rare in the game (depending on your difficulty setting). It’s pretty useful against bosses, mini-bosses, and hordes of enemies that can put you down easily. So, try using it a little sparingly whenever faced with a situation that you think can get a little easier if you used your Wyrd Soul Power.
