Steal a Character is a rather unique game on Roblox. It involves you collecting characters from a portal and stealing characters from others. The rarer character you steal (or collect) will determine the amount of money that you will have. The game was developed by Open Minded Games (OMG) and has since garnered over 4.7 million visits.

Steal a Character Guide: How To Play
Firstly, you will spawn in an open area with other players. At the start, you will be given three separate tasks that are essentially the core objectives of the game. The three tasks include: Buying a Noob (Collecting), Collecting Cash and Stealing a Character. You are recommended to buy a noob first.
If you’re wondering where and how to buy a noob, check on the right side of the screen. You will notice a portal which spawns various characters. Buy one of the cheaper ones at the start. To buy it, go close to the character and press “E.” Then carry the character to your Studio. You can collect money from here. This is a passive income area, so as long as you keep characters here, they will keep generating money.
How To Steal A Character
Stealing characters is one of the main components of the game. To steal, you have to visit other players’ collections by navigating to their profiles or designated areas. Select a character to steal, but be cautious since other players can steal from you too. Once you select the character you want to steal, press “E.” You can then pick it up and carry it to your area. However, if the owner catches you, they can use weapons to parry you away.
When stealing, aim for rare characters to boost your collection’s value. Check for unprotected or high-value characters in others’ collections.
Tip: While stealing is fun and a key element in the game, do not abandon your own area, as you are equally susceptible to getting your characters stolen.
