Discovering Mira’s Plan in Chapter 7 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
After the conversation with Rem at the Castle, you will wake up at the Inn the next day. Once you are ready to continue your journey, exit the Inn, take the stairs to the castle, and speak to Mira. She will be with Rem. Mira will then say that she and the professor worked tirelessly, and they finally have a plan. She suggests that if they cannot defeat it, maybe they should make the Cog destroy itself.
Then, Mira will hand over the recipe for the Interfere Gear to you. However, there is a catch. To make this piece of gear, you will require the help of all the different lives in the game. Once the entire conversation is over, you will have to report back to Edward. He will be in your base camp.
Edward will then ask you to discuss the next step of your plan with your entire party. According to the recipe, you and your companions will need to gather an Eternia Gem, Eternian Log, Eternia Fern, Eternian Flying Fish, and Eternian Fleece. Once the cutscene is over, you will have to visit Rem again in the past.
Speak to Rem in the Past
When you head back to the Capital and speak to Rem, she will tell you the location of your materials. In addition to that, Rem will also tell you that the Crow’s Feather in your inventory could be crucial to unlocking the castle in Ginormosia. Inside, it will be the heart of the Dark Dragon. Remember that this castle, named Fort Gardhart, is completely optional. However, clearing it and destroying the heart of the Dragon will significantly weaken it afterwards.
After the conversation with Rem, you will be free to gather all the necessary materials for the Interfere Gear and continue your adventure.
