Follow these detailed instructions to fish in Fantasy Life i:
- Mark the location of fishes: Approach bodies of water and look for fish shadows beneath the surface. Sardines are commonly found near the docks.
- Set up your fishing rod: Once you spot the fish, use the F key to drop your fishing rod into the water.
- Wait for a bite: You will see an exclamation mark on the screen when the fish bite the bait.
- Reel the Fish: Press and hold the F key to reel in the fish. Also, keep checking the tension indicator; release the key momentarily to prevent the line from snapping. The higher the level of the fish, the harder it is to catch.
Since dealing damage is important while catching fish, the game offers two reeling options: Normal Reel and Power Reel. As the name suggests, the Power Reel deals more damage than normal and is especially effective when aiming for an Excellent Reel.
