In this guide, we’ll explore the choices you need to make to romance Beor in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.

In Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, you’re constantly on the move, uncovering one dark plot after another. However, in the middle of all those dark and morally ambiguous quests, you have some fleeting opportunities to find true love. There are certain characters in the game with whom you can pursue meaningful relationships. One of those NPCs is Beor, a man you’ll literally have to save during one of the side quests. However, to unlock Beor as a romantic partner, you’ll need to do much more than just save him. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly which choices you’ll need to make to romance Beor in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.
How Do You Meet Beor in Tainted Grail?

When you are in Cuanacht, head to Erfyr’s house. Inside, you’ll find both Erfyr and Beor. Erfyr claims that Beor was attacked in a nearby cave and isn’t doing too well. To save him, you’ll need to head back into the cave. When you finally reach the inside of the cave, you’ll come face to face with a Fae who has literally stolen Beor’s heart. Slay the Fae and then bring the heart back to Beor. Erfyr will place the heart back in Beor’s chest, and the quest comes to an end.
However, you can check back in with Beor a few days later to see how he’s doing. This will officially begin The Heart That Defies questline, which you’ll need to complete in a certain way to romance him.

How To Romance Beor in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon

Here’s a complete guide on pursuing a romance with Beor.
The Heart That Defies Quest
During the quest, Beor reveals that his heart isn’t working properly and he needs your help to create a new one. The game won’t point out who can help you in this endeavor, leaving you scratching your head. Don’t fret and simply follow our guide. You need to head to the bottom right part of the Cuanacht map. There, speak with Kvorr, one of the Dal Riata. He’ll be able to help craft a new heart for Beor. However, you’ll need to bring him a Wyrdstone and 10 Ethereal Cobwebs.
After forging the heart, you will need to make a difficult decision. You can either fill the new heart with the unwilling souls of the people you kill or give the heart as is to Beor. Both of these options will lock you out of a romance with him. Instead, you’ll need to choose the option where you sacrifice some of your HP to fill the heart. Keep in mind that this choice will permanently reduce your max HP by 40 points.
Stitch By Stitch Quest
After making the right choice in the previous quest, wait a few days and then check up on Beor once more. He’ll be happy to see you and will once again ask for your help in making a warhammer for someone special. You’ll have to gather the materials for this, including Black Alder wood, Beor’s family iron, and Whispering Crystals. He’ll point you to the locations for each of these items.
Once you bring all three ingredients back, Beor will ask you to wait for a bit before coming back and handing you the warhammer he forged. He’ll confess his feelings for you at this time. To pursue a romance with him, make sure to return his feelings. You can come back to him from time to time to recount the stories of your latest adventure. And that’s how you romance Beor in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon.
