Small Jar Bazaar is the only merchant in the game that’s available from the very beginning. You can speak to him at the Roundtable Hold and check what he has on offer. You can purchase a wide variety of emotes and other upgrades from this merchant in exchange for Murk. As you progress through the game, a few other places open up where you can spend your hard-earned Murk.

So, it can be tricky for new players to assess whether they should spend the Murk at Small Jar Bazaar or somewhere else. In this guide, we’ll explain some of the items that you must buy first from Small Jar Bazaar in Elden Ring Nightreign.

What Should You Purchase From Small Jar Bazaar in Elden Ring Nightreign?

In the initial hours of the game, Small Jar Bazaar has very few items for sale, and none of them are too integral to purchase at this juncture. Instead, we recommend progressing a bit further in the game and defeating a couple of Nightlords before returning to the merchant. You should wait until you defeat Tricephalos during your first expedition.

Then, come back to Small Jar Bazaar to find the merchant selling Goblets. Each Goblet costs 1,200 Murk and will unlock a Relic Rite for one character. With Relic Rites available, you can carry more Relics with you during future expeditions.

With the Goblets, you not only get more Relic Rites, but the color of the Relic slots also changes. In the game, you can only place certain colored Relics in the same colored slots. So, with Goblets, you’ll get more opportunities to mix and match different color-coded Relics and achieve better synergies from them.

Beyond the Goblets, you can also save up your Murk to buy a few of the Relics that Small Jar Bazaar has for sale. Some of these Relics can give you major benefits that help you through otherwise extremely challenging battles.
