Everything you need to know about your progression in Elden Ring Nightreign, how you can check your stats, Nightfarer attributes, and more.
Elden Ring Nightreign features a vastly different form of progression compared to past Souls games from FromSoftware. While it retains the same combat system as Elden Ring, Nightreign’s progression is more akin to a rogue-like, with limited character upgrades. In addition, Nightreign is primarily a multiplayer-focused title. Like many other multiplayer games on the market, Nightreign includes a dedicated stat sheet that provides a breakdown of all your victories, expeditions, felled Nightlords, and more.
The stat sheet also lets you glimpse the primary attribute distribution for the Nightfarers. However, as is the case with any FromSoftware game, finding the stat sheet can be quite tricky. To help with that, here is a comprehensive guide on how to check your stats and Nightfarer attributes in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Where To Find Your Stats in Elden Ring Nightreign?
To check your gameplay stats, head over to the Visual Codex. You can find the Codex near the Small Jar Bazaar. Alternatively, teleport to the Codex by pressing the View Button (Xbox) or Touchpad (PlayStation) and select the Visual Codex. Here, you will have options for Characters, Equipment, Skills/Sorceries/Incantations, Guide, Handbook, and Result History. Selecting the Result History option shows all past expeditions as well as a brief summary of them.
Within Result History, you can also check how many Nightlords you have vanquished, total Runes acquired, and the most used Nightfarers.
Additionally, to view all weapons and their stats, head to the Equipment section. Note that the Equipment lists all weapons that can randomly appear in an expedition, not just the ones you have previously acquired. Lastly, to check the Nightfarer stat distribution, head to the Characters tab. There, you will find a brief overview of the Nightfarers and their individual stat distributions.
Can You Upgrade Nightfarer Attributes?
No, you cannot upgrade Nightfarer attributes. Elden Ring Nightreign operates on a rogue-like progression system where, apart from Relics and Murk, you don’t obtain any permanent upgrades to carry across expeditions. However, you can equip passive stat boosts for the Nightfarers using Relics. These passive stat boosts can often make a big difference in combat.
Apart from the Nightlord and Remembrance Relics, most are randomized. It’s recommended that you check your Relics after every expedition. Note that you can only swap Relics at the Roundtable Hold; you cannot change equipped Relics during an expedition.
