Here we will be discussing the Free Pass and Captain Pass, part of each season in Rematch, and how you can earn rewards with these.
Grab your free access now and get playing before the highly sought-after second phase of Rematch comes to an end. Rematch has been enjoying a wave of roaring success. With its launch just a few weeks away, more and more interested eyes are peeking in its direction. One particular question in mind is what passes are part of the game. In this article, we will be looking at what the Captain Pass is in Rematch.
Rematch will introduce a seasonal pass from the launch date. The current beta phase gives us a small glimpse of what we can expect. There are yet to be changes in this feature. You can use Quants, which are the premium virtual currency in the game, to unlock the Captain Pass. There are currently two passes in the game. Let us look at what these passes offer.
The Free Pass In Rematch
The ‘Free Pass’ is the free version of this pass system. For this pass, you essentially don’t have to do anything other than play the game. The more you play, the more you level up. As you level up further, rewards unlock in the pass, which will be free for you to claim.
Once a certain bar is progressed to unlock the item, you can visit the Season Tab and claim the reward. In the ‘Free Pass,’ you can more likely expect to earn rewards such as blocks, which are the virtual currency, or some non-premium items. It’s totally free, making it look like presents are being awarded by the game just for your time.
The Captain Pass in Rematch
The Captain Pass, on the other hand, acts like a paid seasonal pass. Currently, this pass will cost you a total of 1,000 Quants in-game. This is, however, subject to a possible change at launch.
In the Captain Pass, you can unlock additional content by progressing through three different chapters. The game has mentioned before that it appreciates and supports any time you invest. If you complete each chapter in the season, you will unlock enough quants to unlock the next season’s Captain Pass. This means that you will only need to buy the pass the first time.
All Branches of the Pass
A pass per season will be divided into three different chapters. A single season will take place for a total of three months. The first chapter unlocks immediately with the release of the season. The second chapter is a month later, and the last chapter is in the third month. The timings of these releases are tentative and are subject to change in the future.
Each chapter will feature multiple branching paths. The paths may take different routes, but all have the same final reward. You will have the option to choose a path as per your liking, and the kind of rewards you can expect from each path. While you will not be locked out of the other path, you can prioritise one on the Jiffy in case you are short of time.
Tokens To Unlock Slots in the Pass
With each path, you will find slots. Slots consist of up to 3, 4, or 5 tiers. Progressing across the different types of passes will indicate which kinds of rewards you are eligible for. In order for you to move on to the next slot, you will first need to complete the initial slot. In this order, you will eventually reach the final slot as well as the final rewards of the chapter.
With enough XP, you will earn a tier token, which you will then be able to spend on a slot. This will help you earn a tier as well as unlock its corresponding reward. So you can just keep earning tokens as you play and use them when and how you like.
Upgrade Tickets
The Captain Pass Upgrade Ticket allows you to upgrade your free pass to a Captain Pass. You can upgrade these at any time you want during a season. So it is up to you whether you would like to hold it and use it during the season or wait and check out the goodies you can get in the next season.
