In this guide, we find out how you can get your hands on some Holy weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign and why you need them.

In Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll quickly learn the importance of picking the right tool for each job. Blindly running into a fight with random weapons and equipment is a sure way of perishing. This is especially true for expeditions. Before you set out on these massive quests, you’ll need to assess what kinds of weapons you’ll need.
For instance, during the first expedition to take down the Tricephalus boss, you must carry some form of holy weapon with you. That’s the kind of damage that Tricephalus is weak to, and having such a weapon in your arsenal can mean the difference between slaying the boss and getting crushed yourself. So, in this guide, we’ll explore where you can get your hands on Holy weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How To Get Holy Weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign

The loot and gear in the map of Elden Ring Nightreign are randomized. That means there’s no way to predict where exactly you’ll find Holy weapons during your run. However, you can easily discover spots on your map where you might be able to pick up weapons that deal Holy damage.
For that, simply open the Limveld map and look for the icon as marked on the above image. It can be tricky to differentiate between the markings for Holy and Lightning weapons, as they are both similar. However, the holy weapon icon is slightly darker and doesn’t show jolts of electricity.
Once you find a Holy icon marking a part of the map, make sure you head to that area. Defeating a boss in that region or opening up chests will likely provide you with the weapon that deals Holy damage. If you’re playing as a mage, you can also use an alternate way to gain equipment with Holy damage. Simply open up the detailed view of the map and look for Sacred Seals. Some of the seals you discover around the map can do Holy damage.

Can You Start a Run With Holy Weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign?
If you plan to deal Holy damage from the very beginning of a run, the game does offer a way to do that. However, you’ll need luck in your favor for that to happen. Some relics can help change the damage that a particular weapon does. So, if you have a fire weapon, this relic can let you change it to Holy damage. Any of the characters that can equip the relic will be able to take advantage of this feature. However, finding the relic in question can prove troublesome.
