Fast travel has been an integral part of Elden Ring. In the previous edition, we could make quick travels across various sites of grace through teleportation. With how vast the map was and to save precious travel time and unnecessary duels, the concept of fast travel was introduced. In Nightreign, however, a different function comes into play. In this article, we will be taking a look at whether fast travel in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Unfortunately, we shall begin this article with some not-so-pleasant news. There is no fast travel in Elden Ring Nightreign. There are multiple reasons which contribute to the reason. One of the reasons behind this is the faster sprint speed of the character.

While the exact number can’t be determined due to the weight your character carries, you would be able to traverse across a larger distance in a shorter time in Nightreign. Additionally, the map is significantly shorter, meaning you don’t have a lot of trekking to do. Due to such a compact map and the faster sprint speed, you tend to reach your destination quicker.

The game also features a unique mechanism in the form of shrinking gameplay. This means that each time a minor boss is taken care of, the shape of the environment takes a hit. Similar to the rules of a battle royal, the map shrinks each in-game day across the three days. This entitles the players to the joy of exploring and getting through each phase of the map per day. But nothing can replace a quick traverse.

Spectral Hawk

Spectral Hawks are your primary source to navigate your way even quickly across the lands. The Spectral Hawk is a gigantic magical bird soaring through the high skies with their lushly bright feathers. These act as a form of glider. These spawn at the beginning of every match you fare and take you and your teammates to the location of the hour.

You can also choose to summon these hawks using special hawk trees. These hawks can also be used to get out of fights or quickly change your position, depending upon the scenario. You also get a clear view of where you would like to land and make quick stops anywhere you want.
