In the mystical world of Enshrouded, survival and progression depend heavily on your ability to gather rare and powerful resources. One such valuable item is the Gloomberry, a dark, elusive fruit that plays a key role in crafting and color choices. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find Gloomberry, how to get it, and what they are used for.
How to Get Gloomberry in Enshrouded
You can get Gloomberry in Enshrouded by gathering them in the Revelwood region only at night. Additionally, you will need to strengthen your Flame Altar to at least Level 3 before you can access this zone.
Next, once you have access to Revelwood, you can find some Gloomberry southwest of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. There are some cliffs here, and it’s relatively easy to get to if you jump from the top of the Spire and use your glider.
What is Gloomberry, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Gloomberry to create an upgraded version of Greater Health Potion called Greater Health Potion +. This consumable doesn’t grant you as many immediate healing points but does include a healing-over-time effect that accumulates into a bit more healing overall.
For example, the basic Greater Health Potion gives you +400 health immediately upon consuming it. In comparison, the Greater Health Potion + will give you 240 points of healing immediately, and then give you 20 points of healing per second for 10 seconds. Consequently, the Greater Health Potion + will ultimately heal you for 440 points at the end of its duration.
To craft the Greater Health Potion + with the Alchemist you will need:
- 1 Greater Health Potion
- 1 Gloomberry
Additionally, in a pinch, you can also choose to eat a Gloomberry for a buff of 2 Health Regeneration and 2 minutes of Shroud Protection for 50 minutes.
Finally, collecting a Gloomberry for the first time will unlock the Flint color palette at the coloring station. Seafoam is another color palette that will require Gloomberry to create.
Gloomberry Location in Enshrouded
Gloomberry is a gatherable ingredient located in the non-shroud overland of the Revelwood region. Furthermore, it can only be found and collected during the night cycle.
