In Enshrouded, gathering rare resources is key to survival and progression, and few materials are as elusive and sought-after as Shadowbloom. This mysterious plant, known for its eerie glow and potent properties, plays a crucial role in crafting advanced potions, a new consumable, and multiple different color options. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find Shadowbloom, how to get it, and what they are used for.
How to Get Shadowbloom in Enshrouded
You can get Shadowbloom in Enshrouded by gathering them in the Kindlewastes region only at night. Additionally, you will need to strengthen your Flame Altar to at least Level 5 before you can access this zone.
Next, once you have access to Kindlewastes, you can find some Shadowbloom to the northwest of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire. This flat desert-like area is just below the ancient spire. Consequently, you can jump straight down and catch yourself with the glider before hitting the ground. You shouldn’t have to go far.
What is Shadowbloom, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Shadowbloom to create a food consumable, an upgraded health potion, and several different color options. The Shadowbloom Wrap will unlock as soon as you have picked your first Shadowbloom flower. The buff you get from eating a Shadowbloom Wrap will increase your Constitution by +4 and give you 4 additional minutes of shroud protection.
To craft the Shadowbloom Wrap with the Farmer you will need:
- 1 Water
- 2 Yucca Fruit
- 1 Shadowbloom
- 1 Flour
Additionally, you can also use Shadowbloom to upgrade your Revitalizing Health potions. In Enshrouded, a normal Revitalizing Health potion will restore 800 HP the instant you drink it. However, if you go to the Alchemist with a Revitalizing Health potion and combine with 1 Shadowbloom in the Laboratory, you will create the Revitalizing Health Potion +. Drinking one will instantly heal you for 480 Health, and then continue to give you another 40 health per second for another 10 seconds. Therefore, you will ultimately gain 880 health total.
Finally, there are several color palettes that will require pieces of Shadowbloom to create at the Coloring Station. These include the green-tinted Bright Resolve, Golden Leaf, Green-Winged Orchid, and Thieves Guild colors. Additionally, there is also the orange-tined Prowl color palette.
Shadowbloom Location in Enshrouded
Shadowbloom is a gatherable plant ingredient located in the non-shroud overland of the Kindlewastes region. However, you can only find it during the darkness of night. It will disappear once the sun is shining.
